  There is an enormous amount of history at the Waverley Cemetery and these graves have some of the best views in Sydney. Well worth a contemplative wander.

  Now, that’s a view to die for. Literally. I strikes me as odd that one of the key attraction on the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is a cemetery. But this cemetery, Waverly Cemetery is no ordinary cemetery. Aside from it’s amazing location by the coast, looking past rows and rows of beautiful monuments and memorials, this is the resting place for many of Australia’s most prominent history makers. Some of the graves I glimpse along the way was more than a century old. It’s a little eerie to walk along this large space but in some ways, a very peaceful stretch of the walk. Angels flank my walk as the gentle breeze from the sea brushes against my hair. To think about those who have came before and where I’m heading towards. Really put a perspective in our place in the world.
